Beat the Heat

Ok ladies, it is officially hot, hot, hot here in Texas. We have had two days of 100 degree weather this week. If you are getting married in the summertime, here is a few suggestions to help you beat the heat.

*Wear a light powder base makeup, like Mineral Makeup.
*Water proof mascara is a must. As you all know, I'm a lash freak, I love Maybelline Falsies Mascara.
*Blotter papers
*Wear a light fabrics, like chiffon for your wedding dress. Let your bridesmaids wear a knee length dress in a light color.
*Wear your hair up and off your neck
*Drink lots of water. In fact 24 hours before your big day, hydrate with lots of lemon water.
*Have a few ice packs handy and place them on your pulse points.
*If your getting married outdoors, plan to have your wedding at post sunset--7:00 p.m. works perfect.
*At Provi, Lakeside Party Rental rents portable cooling units and misting fan's for the outdoor tents which works great.
*Give cute fan's--with your names on it-- to your guest as party favors.

I hope you can "Beat the Heat" on your big day with some of these suggestions. Let us know if we can help you in anyway.
